In Star Trek,  enemies tend to become friends, given enough time, or maybe just the  right circumstances.  The Klingons, the Romulans, the Cardassians -- all  have fought against, and alongside, the Federation.  I would love to  see stories about current or former enemies working together to achieve a  common goal, even if they go right back to being adversaries once  they've achieved it!  The scale can be large or small, interstellar  powers or just individuals.
